Degrees and Certifications:

I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and my Masters of Arts degree in Special Education from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California in 1989 and 1990. I have my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from the state of California along with my Learning Handicapped Mild/Moderate Credential. I have my Autism Authorization and my Early Childhood Authorization. I also have a CLAD certificate and Resource Specialist Certificate to teach Special Education. I have my Administrative Services Credential.

About Me:

I am the the teacher in Room 5. My class is an intensive instruction class. In addition to myself, there are three para-educators who work in my classroom giving students the opportunity for small groupings and one on one help.

I have been teaching Special Education for more than twenty years. I really enjoy doing early intervention with younger children. I especially like teaching at Glankler Preschool because the entire school is set up for preschool age children.

My many years of teaching experience at the Elementary and Preschool level combined with my credentials that I have earned make me an excellent teacher for the students in my class.

I enjoy working with students and their parents to help them improve their oral language and their skill level.
